NINE WEEKS OLD 8/30/26
AVAILABLE PUPPY
“America”

“Betsy R.”
SOLD

Betsy is learning NAME recognition, to LURE to a different location, and to SIT all in the presence of distractions and congestion!
Most people wouldn’t try to train three, nine week old puppies side by side.
But, I know they are capable of dealing with a bit of congestion and I think that’s good for them.
I reward the good behaviors (even if they are “almost” or “approximations”) with praise and food.
I am correcting for putting teeth on me and jumping up.
I am offering affection and petting when there are four feet on the ground, and a calm demeanor.
Puppies this age are very plastic in their capacity to learn new things, including that other puppies in their close proximity may receive a treat and that they don’t get every treat that is offered.
I want to teach these puppies patience, respect for me and other dogs, and that life and learning is FUN!
Betsy and America are currently available (8/31/26 the time of this posting)
Freedom was chosen by a US Military veteran who will use her as a companion and also to help mitigate symptoms of PTSD.
Anthem has gone to be raised by her family and will return at 10 months for formal Service Dog Training to partner with a nine year old child.
Adams is now with his new family who owns a puppy we bred and raised five years ago – so, as the only male in this litter he’s going to have a BIG sister, now. I think he’ll be able to handle it.
And, Liberty will be partnering with her new person in a few days to grow into a Service Dog, too – a woman who recently lost her first Service Dog, one we bred and placed with her over 12 years ago.
Please view our AVAILABLE page for details about this litter.
